Senior Associate, Fundraising | Prestigious Private Equity Firm

Our client is currently seeking to hire a senior associate of fundraising/IR to join their growing team.  He/she will report directly to the principal of investor relations and will help in the fundraising/IR process for their real estate, credit and private equity strategies.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Help manage the fundraising process for the Real Estate, Credit and Private Equity strategies
  • Maintain and foster LP relationships with family offices, high net worth, RIAs and institutional investors
  • Maintain the fundraising CRM, prepare/update marketing presentations, create and organize due diligence materials
  • Communicate with existing and prospective LPs, including working with internal teams to provide frequent communication during fundraising processes for prospects and Limited Partners
  • Help with drafting of the quarterly and annual investor letters, and participate in Annual Meeting preparations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and excellent academic credentials required; degree in finance, economics, or business preferred
  • 4-7+ years of relevant work experience at a real estate investment firm, private equity firm, fundraising organization, investment bank, or similar organization
  • Experience contributing to fundraises, and familiarity with managing a network of Limited Partners relationships
  • Knowledge of the LP ecosystem, including insight into the requirements of the various types of LPs and consultants
  • Knowledge and experience of LP engagement cycle and closing process
  • Excellent grasp of the alternatives asset class
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience leading prospective investor meetings
  • Ability to wear multiple hats, perform well under pressure, and self-initiate
  • Acute attention to accuracy and detail
  • Highly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence, and adaptability
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
