Danielle Becks, Partner & Co-Founder
Danielle's Bio
Danielle Becks is Partner and Co-Founder of Hunter SF. Prior to founding Hunter SF, Danielle worked with a boutique recruiting firm in San Francisco, where she was a director. She has had the pleasure of working with many of the Bay Area’s leading companies and talent. Danielle has worked across a range of industries including Financial Institutions, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Venture Capital, Start-up Technology, Consulting and Software/Internet.
Previously, Danielle worked at Heidrick & Struggles, a global executive search firm, where she was part of a team that specialized in the private equity, wealth management, hedge fund and investment banking industries. She also participated in general counsel and other top legal searches for Fortune 500 clients.
Danielle graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where she double majored in Mass Communications and Political Science. At UC Berkeley, she competed on the Varsity Swim team and was a four-time All-American.
Danielle is an active member of the Olympic Club and competes with the open water swim team. In her spare time Danielle enjoys traveling, trying new SF restaurants and spending time with friends and family.
Mallory West, Partner & Co-Founder
Mallory's Bio
Mallory West comes to Hunter SF with previous experience as a political finance consultant where she has successfully raised capital for political campaigns ranging from state legislative, local to congressional level races, and PAC’s. During her fundraising career she also spent much of her time raising money for non-profits. Most recently Mallory led efforts to achieve record-breaking fundraising goals for one of the nation’s top targeted Congressional races.
After five years, Mallory was recruited to join a boutique generalist firm in San Francisco. She made a seamless transition and found success quickly. She has enjoyed it ever since, thus bringing her to co-found Hunter SF.
Originally from a small town above Lake Tahoe – Graeagle, California, Mallory earned a Bachelor of Arts from UC Santa Barbara majoring in Sociology and History and attended the Universita degli Studi di Siena in Italy.
Mallory is actively involved with non-profit organizations, Business Women’s Network (BWN), California Junior Scholarship Federation (CJSF), Glide Memorial and the Boys and Girls Club.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, cycling, Pilates, non-profit fundraising and spending time with family and friends.
Katie Gonsalves, Director, Candidate Sourcing
Katie's Bio
Katie Gonsalves is a Senior Associate with Hunter SF. She attended UC Davis where she majored in Linguistics with minors in Education and Communications. She went to Davis as a springboard and platform diver and dove collegiately for two years on the team.
After earning her Bachelors’ degree, she began her career in legal recruiting with Kearney Boyle & Associates and later, Robert Half Legal. Through these roles, Katie discovered her passion for building relationships with candidates and clients and helping people find their dream jobs.
After a few years in legal recruiting, she decided to embark on a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel the world. Katie first visited Costa Rica to get her Teach English as a Foreign Language certification and then embarked on a 6-month solo backpacking trip around South East Asia, visiting Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, and the Philippines. Upon returning home, Katie was eager to get back to her passion for recruiting and is thrilled to be learning more and more about the Financial Industry every day.
Growing up in the Silicon Valley in Mountain View, Katie is a Bay Area native. She enjoys cooking, baking, movies, exercising, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Lindsey Hauschka, Senior Associate
Lindsey's Bio
Lindsey Hauschka is a Senior Associate with Hunter SF. Prior to joining the firm, Lindsey lived in Seattle, WA and Buffalo, NY and served on the Boards of the Seattle Seahawks Women’s Association as well as the SPCA Serving Erie County, NY. Lindsey received her JD from Boston College Law School and has experience working in Mergers & Acquisitions as well as experience representing pro bono refugee/asylum clients in Immigration Court. Due to her varied experience across different practice areas, Lindsey has a keen sense of leadership, project management and creating and maintaining strong client relationships.
Prior to Boston College Law School, Lindsey received her BA from Middlebury College cum laude, majoring in History with a double minor in Spanish and Political Science. While at Middlebury, she studied abroad in Madrid and Buenos Aires and taught English in Costa Rica. Lindsey and her husband have two young boys and in her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, Pilates and spending time outdoors. She is originally from Minnesota and currently resides in Orange County, CA.
Jeeun Elizabeth Kim, Senior Associate
Jeeun's Bio
Jeeun Elizabeth Kim has a natural proclivity for bringing amazing people together. Throughout the course of her career, she held leadership roles in real estate finance, development, and operations. At Lockehouse, a California-based full-service real estate firm representing the country’s top retailers, she executed multi-unit development projects with Fortune 500 brands. While at Winick Realty Group, a New York-based firm, Ms. Kim represented the interests of significant property owners, such as SL Green, and Amsterdam Hospitality, in their development and leasing projects in Manhattan. Ms. Kim also served at WMC GE Money, where her team was consistently stack-ranked first in sales, nationally. A San Francisco native, Ms. Kim loves to travel, try new restaurants, go to the driving range, and ski. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she studied Psychology.
Claire Jessen, Senior Associate
Claire's Bio
Claire is a Senior Associate at Hunter SF. Prior to joining the firm, Claire worked at a boutique investment management and corporate retirement plan consulting firm in Orange County where she wore many hats. She managed client accounts, traded securities, handled compliance, analyzed portfolio performance, nurtured client relationships and led prospecting initiatives. Claire also spearheaded the rebranding and marketing side of the business. She received her Series 7 & Series 65 and insurance licenses. Claire graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a major in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Business Administration. While at USC, she was very involved in leadership roles within the Delta Gamma sorority as well as within various university organizations. Claire began her post college career in advertising before transitioning into wealth management.
Claire stays busy with her 3 young children and all of their activities. She loves Pilates, spinning, playing pickleball, fishing and anything to do with the beach. Claire and her husband enjoy cooking together and all things food/wine related. They have a special affection for Italy and Hawaii. She is born and raised in Newport Beach, CA.
Jocelyn Low, Senior Associate
Jocelyn's Bio
Jocelyn Low is a Senior Associate with Hunter SF. Prior to joining the firm, Jocelyn lived in New York City working for Ally Bank’s leveraged finance group for 5 years. During her time there, she rotated through the Underwriting, Syndications, Portfolio Management, and Risk teams. At Ally, she worked on a variety of financings with middle-market private equity firms, credit funds, and banks across over 100 transactions.
After Ally, she joined Varagon Capital Partners, a credit fund in New York City, where she worked with the portfolio management and investor relations teams. Due her robust experience in banking and credit investing, Jocelyn has gained a fulsome understanding of the diversity of roles within the financial services industry.
Jocelyn graduated from Villanova University with a double major in Finance and Economics. At Villanova, she was a member of the Equity Society, Mergers and Acquisition Society, Women in Business, and Tri-Delta sorority. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, yoga, wine, and spending time with her friends and family. She is originally from the Bay Area and currently resides in Boca Raton, FL.
