Chief of Staff / Corporate Development Associate | Growing Telecommunications Firm

Our client in need of a motivated and adaptable individual to support our senior management team as Chief of Staff reporting directly to the CEO.  As a strategist, consultant and implementer, the successful candidate will help drive strategic initiatives within the organization based on the top priorities of the CEO.  The right candidate for the job will be able to identify and execute on long term value creation opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Participates in strategic initiatives by leading them, coordinating members from multiple divisions and functional areas, synthesizing information and reporting results back to the chief executive officer
  • Prepares for critical client meetings by: a) helping operating teams develop quarterly business review templates, b) analyzing operating data from inside and outside the company to create compelling business cases to key clients for new service offerings, c) helping coordinate business development activities across senior leadership
  • Scopes, plans and executes multiple, often quick-turnaround projects with minimal outside assistance to improve operational efficiency across divisions
  • Presents ideas for special projects that might facilitate the CEO’s/leadership’s objectives
  • As necessary, oversees transfer of the projects to other stakeholders within the organization


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with high GPA 
  • 2-4 years of experience with blue chip strategic consulting or investment banking firm


  • Leadership and interpersonal skills to coordinate and influence multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication/presentation skills orally, written and through PowerPoint
  • Ability to synthesize complex information to develop simple recommendations
  • Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
  • Effective self-starter, versatile and action-oriented
  • Excel and PowerPoint power user
